A reminder that your credit reports are free

You can get your TransUnion, Equifax and Experian reports free at annualcreditreport.com. It is easy to forget they are there. We can send you a short note now and then.

The law, FCRA § 1681j(a), gives you one set every twelve months. On top of that, the three bureaus have made free weekly reports permanent on the same site. That weekly access is their own choice, not the law.

What you will get

One short email, once every 4 weeks. It says the three reports are free and gives the link. That is all it says.
